Say Goodbye to Every Year the Right Way

Many of us can’t wait to say goodbye to 2011 because it was a year filled with heartache, financial ruin, devastation, etc. To put it bluntly, it was one hell of a year! Luckily, 2012 is right around the corner and you can begin anew. However, before you dash out of 2011, you may want to conduct an ending ritual. It’s a way for you to contemplate what happened in 2011 and how you want 2012 to be different. Warning: This will take honesty. If you’re not willing to take an honest look at 2011, whatever ritual you do won’t work.

I purchased Robert Ohotto’s Endings: A Conscious Inventory and Release of Last Year and conducted my ending ritual today. I had a lot of baggage to release, again. I was amazed at what came up and am determined to make 2012 a great year! No more excuses, no more giving advice when someone doesn’t ask for it, no more worrying because it only creates more worrying; no more people pleasing, no more worrying what this or that person will take, and no more B.S. in my life!

If you really want to start 2012 on the right foot, consider purchasing Robert’s Endings MP3 download. It could change your life now and in the future.

Wishing You and Yours a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year!

How to Dissolve Mind Viruses

A few weeks ago, I signed up for the Cultivating a Prosperity Mindset teleseminar from T. Harv Eker and Randy Gage. Randy was a high school dropout and served jail time at the age of 16. He always heard, “How can someone so smart be so dumb?” Randy’s mind was programmed with this mind virus. While he was in jail, a teacher visited him and said, “You don’t belong here. You take a test and earn a score like a college level. You’re a bright guy — you have the potential to do great things.” Randy wanted to believe him and he did. That’s how he began to change his life. Now, Randy’s a successful businessman.

Randy says, “You need someone who believes in you and that gives you the confidence to believe in yourself. We’re programmed not to stand out. In Australia, it’s known as “the tall poppy syndrome,” the tallest flower is the one that gets cut. We’re told don’t stand out, fit in, keep your head down and don’t get noticed. We’re programmed with these memes.” ~ Randy Gage

It makes it really hard, super hard to succeed when you’re in a negative and or non-supportive environment. Jim Rohn used to say, “Your income will be the average income of the five people you spend the most time with.” That’s not very encouraging when you’re surrounded by Negative Nina’s or Nick’s 24/7.

“You need to work on the root; otherwise, the fruits will be the same.” T. Harv Eker

3 Guiltiest Parties

  • All governments. They need you to be needy. This keeps their power base.
  • Datasphere. TV, newspapers, blimps, internet, movies, etc. Many technologies create many mind viruses which travel the world within an hour.
  • Organized religion. The true message is love. However, there are elements within religions that hi-jack this concept such as, “Money is bad; Rich people are evil; and It’s spiritual to be poor.”

*I would add a fourth guilty party which is family. This is my belief. Listen to what your parents, siblings, aunts and uncles, cousins, grandparents and others say. Do they speak positive or negative words? Do they complain all of the time? Is the sky always falling? Is everything in their life hopeless? I can go on and on, but I think you get the point.

How to dissolve mind viruses

1. Limit the amount of time you spend with negative people. Or, learn to tune them out.

2. Accept responsibility for your life and decide to change it for the better.

3. Be willing to change your life; be willing to live a happier, more successful life. Stop worrying about what others will think. Who cares?

4. Create a positive consciousness before you leave the house. Read a book, listen to a meditation, do yoga, etc. to make sure you’re vibrating where you want to be.

“The secret to prosperity is to be able to be a critical thinker — examine your beliefs. Examine how you got them. Where did you get your ideas from? What makes sense for you? Are they supporting you to have a happier, more successful life? If your beliefs are true and serve you, they’ll withstand the skepticism and questioning. Most peoples’ core foundational beliefs were determined before you were 10-years-old; from parents, counselors, teachers, books, television, etc. You got your beliefs when you were five, six, seven-years-old. Now, you’re 35, 45 or 55 and wondering, “Why can’t I break through? Why am still struggling? Is it the economy? Is it my boss? Ninety-nine times out of 100 it’s self-sabotage because of your limiting beliefs.” ~ T. Harv Eker and Randy Gage.

You get what you expect. Do you expect to succeed or fail? Do expect that you can change your life? Do expect to have that deal go through? Do you expect trouble wherever you go? Do you expect your life will be hard? It will behoove you to examine your expectations.

“Environment is stronger than will power. For example, if you attend a Millionaire Mind Intensive, you’ll be surrounded by like-minded people. In three days, you’ll grow quickly and have such new insight about yourself and your life, about your own successes; that you can easily leave people behind. When that happens, they’re start negating you.” T. Harv Eker

Expect more because you’ll have a better chance of good things happening for you then if you expect less. It’s more supportive, and you’re happier by expecting more. You may not be wealthy tomorrow, but there’s a greater chance you’ll attract prosperity to you sooner rather than later. Stop expecting less! Change the way you think, change everything in your life.

How to Shift Your Beliefs

thought bubble

Question: I’ve been studying the Law of Attraction for a few years, but I still don’t get it. I want to change my beliefs, but I don’t think saying affirmations every day works for me. How can I shift my beliefs once and for all? I’m tired of the ‘same old, same old’ in my life and am ready to embrace change. Thank you!

Answer: Ah yes, the Law of Attraction. Many people watched The Secret or read the book. It takes more than saying affirmations — you must believe in them. Also, how you say affirmations is important. For example, if you want to ‘reverse the aging process,’ you may be tempted to say, “I am reversing the aging process.” However, it would behoove you to say, “My youth is replenished and restored.” Do you see and feel the difference between these two affirmations. The latter is truly affirming that your youth is restored.

According to Abraham (Esther & Jerry Hicks), “You can’t get rid of anything. You can’t get rid of your beliefs because you activate them as you try to get rid of them. Instead, practice new beliefs to make them more dominate.” In other words, stop trying to ‘get rid of old thought beliefs’ and cultivate new ones.

You have beliefs you’re not aware of; these aren’t big players in your experience. ~ Abraham

How to shift your beliefs

1. Journal your current beliefs. Grab a journal or notebook and journal all of your beliefs; categorize them into negative and positive. Review your beliefs and ask the following questions:

  • Are these truly my beliefs?
  • Where did I learn these beliefs?
  • How do these beliefs serve me?
  • How are these beliefs creating my present and future?
  • Am I willing to release the beliefs?
  • Am I afraid to release these beliefs? What will happen?

2. Monitor your thoughts. Try this exercise for one week. Notice your thoughts without judging them. How do you ‘feel’ when you think a thought? How does your body react?Really get into your body and allow it to guide you around your thoughts.

3. Set the intention to shift your beliefs. If you want to ‘shift’ your beliefs, set an intention to do so. Write it down — post it around your home. You could also post your ‘new’ beliefs around your home as well.

4. Keep your thoughts to yourself. Unfortunately, the people around you may not be supportive that you’re going in a different direction. It will behoove you to keep your thoughts on shifting your beliefs to yourself for a while. If people begin to distance themselves, bless and allow them to go. You’re embarking on a new path/journey that may not ‘mesh’ with their path/journey anymore.

5. Take it one day at a time. You can expect to change your beliefs overnight but you could be setting yourself up for failure. If you slip into ‘old beliefs/thought’ patterns, acknowledge it. Don’t be too hard on yourself. You’re doing the best you can.

How to Make a God, Miracle or Wealth Box

Question: What is a God Box? How do they work? Where can you buy one? How do you make one? I have a lot of stuff I’d like to create and release.

Answer: A ‘God Box’ is a tool to help you turn over your troubles and cares to God, Creator, Universal Source, Universal Intelligence, etc. A ‘miracle or wealth Box’ is something you can use to place your dreams in and release them to the Creator, instead of obsessing about them. It’s necessary to take action to make your dreams come true. However, it’s best to take inspired action.

Author, radio personality, and speaker Denise Linn, outlined the steps for creating a God, miracle, or wealth box on her July 12, 2011 Soul Coaching program which can be found on HayHouse Radio. Of course, you can always purchase a ‘pre-made’ box, but you may consider making your own. It doesn’t have to be fancy. You can use a shoe box, purchase a special box from an arts and craft store, use a gift box, or anything else you’d like to use. Below are the steps to making your very own God, miracle, or wealth box.

How to Make a God, Miracle or Wealth Box

1. Select the style of box that resonates with you. Use a Sharpie and write the following on the box:

  • Thank You! Write these words on all four sides of the box.
  • “Whatever is in this box is so.” Write this underneath the box lid or top.

2. Place crystals in or around your box. Green stones are the best to use because they symbolize growth, prosperity, and renewal; however, you could also use other stones that promote prosperity. Purchase stones such as Aventurine, green mica, green jade, green tourmaline, malachite, Herkimer diamonds, seashells, smoky quartz, rainbow stones, tiger’s eye, amber, or citrine.

Remember to cleanse your stones. Hold them to your heart and third eye (located between your eyes). Dedicate the stones to your God, miracle, or wealth box; prosperity and wealth.

3. Place flower and oil essences in or around your box. Rosemary, lavender,  frankincense, and orange oil promote prosperity.

On her July 12, 2011 show, Denise Linn provided listeners with the following instructions after the completion of a God, miracle, or wealth box:

“I open my heart to loving abundance.” Say this three times while stretching out your hands like you’re going to dive; open your arms and say, “I give thanks to the Creator for all that’s received.” Lift your arms higher and higher and say, “In accordance with the highest good.” Your arms and head will be pointed upwards. Be open to what’s in store for you. Remember to give thanks.

You don’t have to carry your God, miracle, or wealth box with you. Put it in a special place in your home. You may want to create an altar with pictures, statues, crystals, candles, incense, flowers, plants, etc. and place your box on it. It will be your own sacred place where you give thanks. Peace!

*The photo is an example of God Box which can be purchased. I bought this box from a holistic store in Chandler, Arizona.
