Whether it’s a caregiver, teacher, or mentor, certain individuals are entrusted with the care of others. While most of these people are responsible and caring, there are those who use their position to manipulate and control those under their care. These people are known as handlers, and they can be very dangerous.
What are Handlers?
Handlers are people who have immediate physical charge of another person, meaning they have the power to control that person’s actions, decisions, and movements. Handlers often exhibit narcissistic tendencies, meaning they have an inflated sense of self-importance and a lack of empathy for others.
