Back to Your Future

I have been thinking about how far I’ve come since March 2007 and September 2007. I know it is not good to dwell in “the past,” but I could not help myself. I was also thinking about the past years and how much time I spent being “miserable!” For the record, I spent way too much time in my “Les Misérables” story. But, it was my story. If you are interested, check out iTunes: All Your Music, All In One Place for the music to the musical “Les Misérables.”

Anyway, I was thinking about how some people say that “they would not go back and change the past if they were given the opportunity to do so. It is kind of like the “if I knew then what I know now” syndrome. Most people say that they would not be where they are if it wasn’t for the mistakes they made. Or how they may not have met the people that they did. Yeah, right! I would go back in a “heartbeat!” Are you kidding me? If I could avoid half of the stuff that I went through knowing now what I did not know then, you better believe I would go back. I would be on board the H.G. Wells Time Machine back to my future faster than “warp speed!” Please…

I could tell you what I would do if I went back, but where would that get me? I choose to focus on the present. I cannot change the past, but I can “create” my present and pave the way for my future! I envision myself with a very BRIGHT future!

Hey, speaking of going back to your future, I just love the “Back to The Future” movies with Michael J. Fox . If you are interested, you can pickup all three of them at Awesome!

  1. I agree with you Rebecca on your Back to the Future blog posted 4-14-08. I also would go back in a heart beat. I would get myself a college education and a job that I enjoyed working at. Have fun and enjoy life to the fullest. I would have no fear of getting on an airplane and going to places I have never been to. That is what I would do if I had the chance to go back to the future.
